Latihan Dalam Perkhidmatan LDP

This Year I am applying for LDP so just to share the steps I am going thru.

1. Inform your Department that you are going for further study
2. Fill in the form (LDP) once you get approval. Ask from your HR division for the form.
3. Survey the place for your study and the course title. If you want to go to UK I recommend apply thru UCAS www.ucas.com
4. Dont forget to submit LDP form to your HR Division. It would then go to your Ministry for another round of filtering. No need to wait for UCAS reply. Just put in the LDP form "Waiting for University reply"
5. You will need to fill in every steps in UCAS Website. Get ready with your Education Certificates and Referee comments (normally your Boss)
6. Once finished filling in, you wait for the UCAS to reply back, normally it would takes 1-2 weeks. They would reply either with Unconditional, Conditional or reject.
7. Reply to them asap before the dateline. If you get Conditional offer, you have to meet it before 1st Aug (subject to changes) but for this time reply to them either firm accept or as a backup. If you need to get IELTS band 6.0 . you can register for the exam at CFBT @ Kiarong which cost ~$250. But please do this ASAP because seat are limited and you may miss the dateline to meet the condition offer. Result would be given 2 weeks after the exam.
   
8. Once get approved from ministry it would then go to JPA and then to SPA
9. You should have meet the condition i.e. IELTS by now and submit a copy of the certificates to JPA/SPA. JPA 3 floor. SPA first floor. Application must reach SPA before 3rd week of Aug??
   
10. ~ 2 weeks you would know the status, appproved or not.
11. Once approved get more forms from JPA
12. Medical Check
13. VISA
14. Flight
15. Consider International Debit Card
16. Consider your living place. Hall or Private?
    
17. Lastly dont forget to ask/help from someone else.
